Alex Arnold Makes D1 Commitment

After playing a successful season with the Chicago Force, Alex Arnold has made a commitment to the Youngstown State Penguins. YSU is in Division 1 of The American Collegiate Hockey League. Alex finished the 2007-2008 CSHL season as a defenseman with 2 goals and 1 assist. The Chicago Force would like to wish Alex the best of luck in his season with YSU.


Two More Chicago Force Players Make Commitments

Matt Rabin and James Perkins both played for the Chicago Force during the 2007-2008 Season. Matt stopped the pucks for the better half of the season while James notched 9 goals and 7 assists for 16 points in 43 games throughout the season. The Chicago Force is proud to announce their tender to the Albert Lea Thunder and wish them the best of luck. The Albert Lea Thunder just received approval to begin playing in the NAHL just two months ago!


Nick Guran Makes DIII College Commitment After Playing In NAHL
June 11, 2008

Nick Guran, who played partial season through 2007, went to the Fairbanks Ice Dogs posting a very good record for the short time he played there. Nick is moving to Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota to play for their Division III School Hockey Team.


Six Chicago Force Players Make College Commitments
June 8, 2008

Since the end of the 2007-2008 season for the Chicago Force, four veteran players made commitments to universities all around the country. Joe Sullivan, Brian Soskin and Mike Sabatino are headed to Johnson and Wales University-ECAC Northeast DIII, Mike Kestas has made the decision to attend Youngstown State University-ACHA DI, Jeremy Browning is headed to Lebanon Valley College-ECAC West and Kevin Coyne will lace his skates up for Becker College-NCAA DIII. The Chicago Force would like to congratulate these players on their future commitment to the schools they're attending and their hockey program.

Alumni Season Roundup: Mike Santee
May 19, 2008

In his first season with the Lumberkings, Mike notched 15 goals and 15 assists in 60 games. Mike managed to light the lamp 3 times for game winners and once while shorthanded. One of those assists also came while defending a powerplay. Mike was really on fire during the playoffs playing 14 games, notching 8 goals and 2 assists.

Scott Dakan Named ACHA D1 Academic All-Americans
May 10, 2008

Posting a 3.7 GPA as a Senior Defenseman at Penn State University, Force Alumnus Scott Dakan was named to the list of Academic All-Americans. Dakan ended his season posting 3 goals and 12 assists in 36 games.

Brian Soskin and Jeremy Browning Make College Commitments

Brian Soskin has made a college commitment to Johnson & Wales University and Jeremy Browning has made his college commitment to Lebanon Valley College. The Chicago Force organization would like to wish them only the best in their future in hockey, and in school.
